Snow in Seattle?!?

We'd heard that Seattle can get a little snow, but were not expecting the amount we got in mid-January. It started out slowly and then kept snowing and snowing and snowing! School was closed for a week and we were stuck at home for at least 4 days. Luckily we had just stocked up at the store before the storm came in. We had a lot of fun playing in the snow with friends that live down on the lake and others that hiked to come play with us. It was a fun adventure that we probably won't see for another decade or more.

We had makeshift sleds as ours was left in Pine - cardboard boxes and plastic bags - didn't work very well.
