Weekend on Whidbey with Walters!

This last weekend we spent an incredible 3 days on Whidbey Island with our good friends the Walter Family. We stayed in a beautiful house on Puget Sound, hiked Deception Pass State Park and Fort Casey, and enjoyed many fun moments with friends. It will be a weekend we remember for a long time - Thanks Stephanie, Travis, Jayden, Addy, & Riley!

Kinderhaus Spring Parade

Last Friday we celebrated the welcoming of spring with all 3 Waldorf Kindergarten classes - Lavender, Rosemary, & Briar Rose. We paraded from the Kinderhaus in Wallingford deep into Woodland Park, complete with decorated 'godseye,' a bagpipe, and lots of hot cross buns. It was so much fun listening to the kids sings the songs of spring they had learned in school as well as to take part in the 'caterpillar to butterfly' song.

Now it is 2 weeks of spring break!

With our house came a 10-year old motorboat that was covered in lots of dirt and spiders.  But after a few hours of cleaning, it sparkles like brand new!  Last weekend we took it out for its inaugural voyage.  Mila was a little frightened at first, but soon realized how fun it can be to be on the water - she even fell asleep.  Jacob loves sitting in the back and watching the big waves from the motor and fishing while we float.
