Happy New Year from our new home in Seattle! I don't think I've ever gotten this behind in my blogging, so I have a lot of catching up to do - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, New Years....and lots more! It has been a whirlwind few months for us, as we moved into our new home on Lake Washington in mid-December, then flew to Southern California for the winter holiday, and have since returned home and begun to unpack the 100+ boxes that were delivered from storage. We are LOVING living on the lake; everyday we are in awe of the magic and beauty of the water. We are slowly learning about all the creatures that live in and around the lake - otters, ducks, eagles, crows, and many more birds we aren't sure of what type. Jacob has been enjoying trying out his new fishing pole off the dock (a cork for the hook for right now) and Mila loves toddling along the Burke Gilman trail behind the house.
