After 2 nights in New Jersey, Auntie Kristen drove us into the city for Aunt Allison's wedding. We stayed at hotel in Chelsea, walking distance to the Empire State building, lots of restaurants, a Starbucks (mama's favorite). This was our first time staying in the city as a family and it was fun!
Within minutes of arriving at the hotel, Daddy & Jacob were off on their first adventure - to go see Uncle Eli and the Story Pirates. Jacob & Jonathan loved it! Uncle Eli is so talented! Those pictures are on Daddy's phone, so I'll add them later. Mama & Mila went to get a bagel with Nana Jill & Grandpa Ron, then got a quick nap at the hotel. Then that night was the rehearsal dinner at Edwards in Chelsea. It was a great evening with lots of fun, yummy food, and an atmosphere of sheer happiness. We are so happy for Allison & Eli and wish them an amazing life together.
Jacob was so outgoing at the wedding festivities - you wouldn't believe the transformation this shy little guy has made. From a toddler that clings to my leg, he is now a young man working the crowd, introducing himself, dancing with Aunt Allison & Uncle Eli and their friends - too cool for mom and dad. It was amazing seeing how much he has grown and how comfortable he is being himself.
