We are so proud of Daddy's achievement of getting tenure and becoming an Associate Professor. He's been working toward this goal I'm guessing since he started his masters program at UCI 16 years ago. He is so smart and very hard working, I just knew he'd achieve his dream. Jacob, Mila, & I are so happy for your success and love you very much!

Visit to Seattle
On Easter Sunday we flew to Seattle to join Daddy on a business trip. We all enjoyed the cool weather and beautiful sites. Auntie Sarah joined us in Seattle then flew back to AZ with us to have more of a visit.
Thank you Auntie Sarah for all your help! We miss you!
Sunday night the Ferrante family hosted us for dinner - Jacob loved playing with Martina & Mattia, and it was wonderful getting to visit with Anto & Sylvia. Mattia really took a liking to Mila, and she to him :)

Easter Festivities
Jacob really enjoyed preparing for the Easter Bunny's arrival this year - dying eggs, writing a letter to EB bunny, and of course the chocolate (thank you Grandpa Chuck). Since we were leaving for vacation Easter Sunday, we had a very early egg hunt Sunday morning (yes, 6:30am), then it was off to the airport.

so excited to find the eggs!
the eggs are gone daddy! - he wanted to leave the eggs and his note on the back patio so EB bunny was sure to find them
