The day after xmas we loaded up the car & drove up to Mammoth Mountain for a week of skiing & visiting with Auntie Sarah (who just relocated there as Asst Controller for the mtn). Mammoth holds many special memories for us since mama & her family grew up skiing there & daddy proposed to mama beneath chair 9. So it was nice to introduce Jacob to this magical place. He did very well in the snow, though he was not very excited about all the equipment he had to wear (snow boots, mittens, hat...).
Mama & Daddy got to ski 4 half days together while Grammy watched Jacob back at Sarah's apartment. It was wonderful for mama & daddy to get to spend that time together. Thank you Auntie Sarah for letting us stay with you & Grammy for watching Jacob :) And special thanks to Sarah's coworker for loaning us the snowsuit for Jacob!
