Seattle trip - early July!

After a fun-filled week in Long Beach, Mama flew up to Seattle where Daddy met us at the airport for 2 full weeks of house hunting, apartment searching, camping on the beach, and visiting with friends. We are so thankful to Anto & Silvia for letting us use their home for a week while they were in Italy. It made looking for houses with the kids so much easier. And we are also thankful that Grandma Tilla & Papa Chuck drove up to Seattle to help us out with the kids while we were driving around with the real estate agent and looking for an apartment.

But it wasn't all work...we camped on Bainbridge Island a few nights with Grandma & Papa, hung out with our friend Marc that was visiting from Belgium, and did some site-seeing too. And, we celebrated Daddy's birthday!

Long Beach Trip....late June, early July!

While Daddy headed back to New Hampshire for another conference, Mama & the kids flew to Long Beach to spend a week with Grammy and Grandpa Ward. Even Auntie Sarah flew down from Mammoth, and Auntie Kristen, Uncle Danny, & Cousin Jamie were visiting from New Jersey! We had tons of fun going to the beach, tot lot, 2nd street, Aquarium, etc....all our favorite hang outs. Thank you Grammy and Auntie Sarah for all your help with the kids!

I'm back!

Ok, well I finally got my camera back...thank you Anto & Silvia for holding on to it for me :) I've been quite lost without it for the last month. And unfortunately my iPhone does not take that great of pictures, but they'll have to do for late July & August posts.

So much has happened in the last 6 weeks - we now live in Seattle, Mila is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up to standing, & Jacob is soon to start kindergarten and getting glasses! It was so sad having to say goodbye to all our friends in Tempe, but are greatly enjoy the 70s temperature here in the pacific northwest. Mr. Pickles & Frankie LOVE that the windows are open all the time, as do we. It still feels weird to be able to drive with my windows open during the summer, or even to take a walk near the lake, seeing as though it is 117+ right now in Tempe. Anyway, I'll post more on how we are doing in Seattle after I finish the backlog of pictures from our July trips.
