Trick or Treating with the Santos Family

Tonight we took our little Astronaut and Space Alien trick or treating with our friends the Santos's. Jacob & Brady had a great time riding in the space shuttle from house to house collecting lots of loot. Mila wasn't very interested in the trick or treating and spent most of the time fussing or crying, but still looked cute in her alien antennae. Daddy, Mama, Grandma Tilla, & Papa Chuck all dressed up as NASA engineers to assist the astronaut and his space shuttle Discovery.

after trick or treating we finally got Mila to keep on her antennae long enough to take some pictures...she was so tired by the time we got home.

Today we carved our 2 pumpkins - Jacob chose one to be a cat and other a bat. He carved the bat with Daddy and the cat with Grandma Tilla & Papa Chuck.

The making of a space shuttle...

Daddy & Papa Chuck started designing Jacob's space shuttle weeks ago and set to work building it earlier this week. It was a very large project and ended up being a great success. Jacob greatly enjoyed riding around in it tonight for Halloween with his buddy Brady.

Some patio remodelling...

Since we have to get a new roof due to some leaks and it being more than 20 years old, we decided to make some changes to the patio. This week we extended the cement area so we can have more room for our table and chairs, and demo'd the old patio cover and extended the roof. The backyard seems so much more spacious now. Here are some pictures of the work in progress....

Earlier this month, Nana Jill & Grandpa Ron flew out from Florida for a visit. They enjoyed meeting Mila for the 1st time and seeing Jacob participate in his many activities.

Jacob loves giving his baby sister lots of hugs and kisses, especially when she is chillin on the bed. We are so proud of how gentle he is with her.

More Mila Bathtime...

Mila loves taking baths in Jacob's old cradle tub in the kitchen sink. She doesn't get as many as Jacob did since we're a bit busier with the 2 of them, but she enjoys getting her baths by Daddy & Jacob.
