And the family heads home...

We checked out of the hospital on Friday and were greeted at home by a very excited big brother Jacob. He couldn't wait to show his little sister all around the house and introduce her to all his favorite toys. Jacob is doing very well getting used to this new life in our house, though he doesn't like it when she cries.

We look forward to all the experiences we'll have as a new family!

Mama, Daddy, & Mila heading home - thanks Banner Gateway for a wonderful experience!

Mila was so calm in the car ride home; she slept the entire trip! Such a difference from bringing Jacob home. We hope this means she going to like the car :)

Mila Meets some of her Grandparents

Grammy with Mila
Thank you Grammy for coming out to meet Mila and help with Jacob. It was a huge help having you assist Mama at the hospital so Daddy could help out at home with some of Jacob's activities.

Grandma Tilla & Mila
We are so lucky to have Grandma & Papa Chuck staying at the house with us while we recover; Jacob loves being doted on by his grandparents! It is really helping with the transition to a family of 4.

Big brother Jacob with Baby Sister Mila

Jacob was a little nervous coming into the room to meet his new baby sister, especially seeing Mama in a hospital bed with a few tubes and cords. But he was very excited to get to hold Mila and instantly bonded with her. We are so proud of how gentle he is with her and wanting all her needs to be met. And he especially loved the playmobile airplane baby sister got for him :)
