Sedona Weekend Adventure

We drove up to Sedona this past weekend for a quick weekend getaway. This was Grandma Tilla & Papa Chuck's last weekend up there & we were ready to get out of the valley for a few days! We great enjoyed some beautiful hiking & spending time with family. Aunt Tracey & Cousin Jared have just moved to Flagstaff from the bay area, so it was great visiting with them.

Jacob & his friend Natalie (from the AP group) met up for a playdate at our favorite local park on Monday. They had a great time playing on the play structure & climbing the huge carab tree :)

Mountain Mama Playgroup

Today we had lots of fun playing at Rachelle & Kallen's house. Jacob loved climbing up & down the stairs & eating 2 full helpings of Rachelle's yummy pasta salad :) It was a great way to spend a rainy morning. Thanks Rachelle & Kallen for having us over!

Hiking with Grandma & Papa

Today we hiked the Mormon Trail to Fat Mans Pass in South Mountain with Papa Chuck, Grandma Tilla, & Mama. It was a pretty difficult hike, but we had a great time. Jacob loves his view from Mama's back, & is enjoying the free ride while he is still small enough. He had so much fun he decided to nap all the way down.

Warpaint Trail

On Friday Jacob & Mama joined the Mountain Mamas for a hike in South Mountain. It had a beautiful view of the East Valley, though was a bit chilly (mid 40's). But after the first hill we were warmed up & the kiddos had lots of layers on. Loving hiking in the winter/spring before the weather turns too warm, & the mtn mamas are great fun to talk to.
