Bathtime with Daddy

I love my special bath time with Daddy each night, & mama enjoys having some free time to get stuff done.

I'm still not walking yet, but I am getting quite an extensive vocabulary. I can say duck, dog, baby, mama, dada, done, & a few other words that mama just can't remember right now. And I can sign a few words too.

Mama & Daddy are excited for me to start walking, but I get along so well crawling, I'm not in any hurry. Maybe I'll start in the next few weeks. I see a lot of my friends doing it, so maybe it is worth a try :)

Summer Vacation...Part 3

The final leg of our journey was spent in Florence, OR. We went the beach everyday & even got to check out some cool tide pools. Jacob slept through that part, but we had fun anyway!

The vacation was great fun! Thanks Papa Chuck & Grandma Tilla for making it happen :)

Summer Vacation...Part 2

The next leg of the camping trip was spent in Bandon, OR at Bullards State Beach. Again, we spent a good amount of time at the beach. Jacob loved playing the sand & walking in the water (even though it was around 50 degrees...brrr!) We also visited the Game Park where we got to hold some cute (& not so cute) baby animals. The RV Park gave us a kite as well, so we got to fly it at the beach.

Our Summer Vacation...Part 1

We spent the first two weeks of July driving up the coast of California & Oregon (from San Jose, CA to Eugene, OR) with Papa Chuck & Grandma Tilla (Sparky too!). We camped in Klamath (CA), Bandon (OR), & Florence (OR). The coast is so beautiful, and it was so wonderful to get away from the extreme heat of AZ!

At our first camping spot, Klamath, we went to the beach so Jacob could play in the sand & water, & he absolutely loved it. It was a bit chilly, but it didn't seem to bother Jacob :) We were even lucky enough to see a pod of whales swiming just 50 feet off the shore. A few even breached out of the water (Check out the pictures of this in the collage). We also visited the trees of mystery where Jacob could sit on the foot of the giant Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox.

Beating the Heat!

Here I am frolicking in the pacific ocean. Momma is keeping me from drifting off into the waves. That is grandma's foot. This was on day two of our two week trip to oregon.
