3 Generations of Posner Men!

Jacob's Grandpa Ron & Great Uncle Fred visited us today from Florida & New York. This was Jacob's first time meeting his uncle! We had a yummy dinner at PF Changs & then went for a quick dip in the pool. Jacob was all giggles :)

Thanks for visiting us!

I graduated to the big tub

I was climbing out of my little sink tub so daddy put me in the big tub. There is lots more room and I crawl around, stand, and do whatever I like. I'm a big boy now.

New Jersey Graduation Trip

Mama & Jacob travelled to Madison, NJ this past weekend to celebrate Auntie Kristen's Law School graduation. Jacob did amazing on the long plane trips & we had so much fun watching Auntie Kristen get her diploma! Jacob also got to see Princeton University & New York City!
Here are some pictures from the trip. Congrats Auntie Kristen! Auntie Sarah, Grammy, & Jacob at Princeton

San Diego Wedding Weekend

Jacob has had a very busy last few weeks. On May 19th & 20th the whole family was in San
Diego celebrating Libby & Blaise's wedding! It was a beautiful ceremony & we all had lots of fun. Mama & Auntie Sarah were bridesmaids, so Daddy got to watch Jacob a lot during the weekend of festivities. And Daddy did a great job! Hopefully we will have pictures of the beautiful bride posted on the blog soon! Will probably have to wait until the bride & groom get back from their honeymoon in Spain :)

Microfluidics Party / Baby Shower

On Saturday it was the semi-Annual Microfluidics Lab Party. Daddy invited over all his graduate students and their significant others for a night of fun & food! We also held a baby shower for Luisa, a wife of one of daddy's grad-students. She is due mid-June with their first baby, Juan Felipe. We had lots of fun and can't wait to meet the little guy.

In the first picture, mama is holding Katie (she was introduced on the blog a month ago). Jacob was taking a nap, so there was no need to get jealous. The next picture is Luisa opening some gifts. The last 2 pictures are of Daddy's research group (with & without family members).

Thanks everyone for a fabulous night :)

Doris's Group

Here are some pictures from a breastfeeding support group we go to most Tuesday mornings. A wonderful woman (Doris) meets with new moms to talk about all sorts of topics during the first year of a baby's life. Jacob & I have been going for a few months now. We really enjoy meeting other moms & babies. Sadly, we are about to graduate since Jacob is nearing his one year b-day.

Thanks Bridget for emailing out these photos. They are from Logan's b-day graduation. Happy Birthday Logan :)

2 more teeth!!!

Jacob's top 2 front teeth have come in! The right one was in middle of last week, and the left is poking through now. It has been a very gruelling 2 weeks of teething, but we've finally made it through, thankfully. Will post a picture of the toothy grin soon :)

Visit from Auntie Sarah

We were so lucky to have Auntie Sarah come visit us for 5 whole days this week! She was a huge help to mama, so we are very sad to see her go back to DC today. But we will luckily see her again real soon for Libby & Blaise's wedding in 2 weeks!

Thanks Auntie Sarah for an amazing week! We love you very much :)
