Mountain Mamas

Jacob & I joined a hiking mamas group this year. It has been so much fun and great exercise. Here are some pictures from a hike we took with the Mountain Mamas last week. This is a view from the Javaline/Ridgeline Loop. Jacob napped for most of it, as you can see from the pictures :)

Four!!!

On Saturday mama & auntie Sarah played golf with Libby & Friends as part of the bridal shower weekend. It was so much fun! Coper slept for the first 4 or 5 holes, then walked along with Grammy & the gang for the last few holes. It was a beautiful day for golfing :) And mama played pretty well for not having played in over a year and a half!

Libby's Bridal Shower

On Sunday we went to Libby's Bridal Shower in Huntington Beach, CA. We had a great time, the food was amazing, and it was so nice seeing friends from UCLA. Thanks Auntie Sarah & Grammy for helping out with Jacob. He was a little bit cranky from missing his afternoon nap, but was a great sport for hanging in there for us :)

Thank you Libby, Jen, & Kathy for a wonderful afternoon. Looking forward to the wedding in a month!

Coper at the Beach House

Travelled to Long Beach this weekend for Libby's Bridal Shower Weekend festivities. We had a great time hanging out with friends and family. Here are a few pictures, hopefully more to come soon!

Playdate at Aaron's House

Hung out with the other AP Moms/Babies today at Aaron's house. Jacob had a great time playing with his friends. I think getting him out of the house and outside in the fresh air helped him to forget about his tooth pain :)

Tempe Library Meetup

Brought Doug & Anders to the AP meetup at the Tempe library. The boys had fun playing with all the toys. Jacob has been teething though for the last few days (uppers are coming in), so he hasn't felt very well. But he seems to be coming through it now :) Can't see a tooth yet, but I'm sure it will be out soon, at least I hope so!

Easter Weekend with Auntie Sarah

Last weekend my auntie Sarah came to visit me. She gave me the squeaker sneakers I am wearing in the picture of me next to the fountain. I just can't stop stomping my feet when I have these things on. Then for some reason mama, daddy, & aunt sarah just laugh and laugh...

We went out for a yummy brunch on Sunday after church (boy was it packed, though I snoozed through half of it). Daddy shared some of his toast with me :)

Full Week of Fun!

On Monday we joined the AP group at the AZ Science Center to celebrate Clara's birthday. It was a lot of fun, definitely have to go back again soon, and this time bring daddy! That is Sonja & Clayton next to mama & Jacob.

Then on Tuesday we went to the backyard playdate at Melanie's mom's house in Awahtukee. There was a splash pad and lots of friends for Jacob to play with :)

First taste of broccoli...

Had to take pictures of this, it was so funny! I wouldn't say he hated it, I mean he ate the whole bowl full, but his expressions were priceless :) Once we mixed the broccoli with some apple/sweet potato mixture, he liked it much better.
Oh yes, and he is now officially crawling! He drags one leg behind him, but it is definitely crawling, and is he fast! Gonna have to get going on baby proofing :)

Thanks nana jill and grandpa ron for my new robe. It is going to come in real handy for drying off after swimming this summer!

My First Passover!

On Monday night we celebrated my first passover with vegetable matzo ball soup and matzah crackers. Yum!

Natural Bridge Day Trip

Went on a cool hike to see the natural bridge near Pine. Got to ride down with Papa Chuck and back up on Daddy's back!

We didn't know there were waterfalls in AZ! Pretty cool :)
