Jacob's Maui Adventure

For our second week of Hawaiian Vacation we flew to Maui to meet up with Papa Chuck & Grandma Tilla in Kaanapali. Again, it was another wonderful week of swimming, snorkeling, and of course, relaxing on the beach. It was wonderful for mama & daddy to be able to go snorkeling together, as they did pre-Coper, with the help of Papa & Grandma. We tried all the best snorkeling spots in the area, and decided Kapalua Bay was our favorite, so we spent most of the week there. We had an amazing time, and are so thankful to Papa & Grandma for making it happen. By the end of the 2 weeks were definitely relaxed :)

Here are some pictures from the 1st week of our Hawaiian Vacation. We had a fabulous time in paradise, with lots of swimming, snorkeling, & relaxing on the beach. We spent the first week on the Big Island at the Waikoloa Marriott & the Kona Tiki Hotel. Jacob loved playing in the sand & beach entry pool. Even though it rained most everyday, it didn't scare us away from the water!

Jacob's New Tricycle!!!

Thanks Nana Jill & Grandpa Ron for the amazing new tricycle! We know we were supposed to wait til Hannukah to open the box, but it just looked like too much fun to play with. Jacob had so much fun going round & round the house tonight, he could barely wait for us to put it together. Can't wait to take it outside tomorrow for a thorough test drive :)

Thanksgiving in Los Alamitos

Jacob really enjoyed Thanksgiving this year because he got to actually eat the food :) His favorite was the veggie stuffing made by Great Uncle Dave! It was wonderful seeing family, & Jacob loved chasing Sunny Dog around the house.

Mama accidentally left the camera at Grammy & Grandpa's house, so thank you great aunt mary & auntie sarah for emailing us some pictures :)

Jacob at Seal Beach

For our last day in California, we decided to hit the beach! Where else but in CA can you go to the beach in November. Someone was even nice enough to build a huge sand castle, complete with pit, for Jacob & Daddy to play in. Jacob, Grammy, Daddy, & I had a great time; it was the perfect end to the vacation :)

Jacob's Trip to the Beach House

Mama & Jacob flew to Long Beach last week to spend some special time with Grandpa & Grammy Ward. Daddy was in Salt Lake City, UT for a conference, so Grammy & Grandpa were a great help with Jacob. We enjoyed going on long walks by the water, visiting the local park, & chasing after any one of the four kitties in the house!

Sedona Trip

We drove to Sedona this weekend with Papa Chuck & Grandma Tilla. On Saturday we met up with Sonja, Mario, Alex (Mario's sister), & Clayton for a nice walk. Uncle Shawn even drove down from Flagstaff to have dinner with us in the coach :)

On Sunday we went for a gorgeous hike in Red Rock State Park. The view is amazing. Jacob did incredibly well the entire weekend. He didn't take a nap at all on Saturday and waited until the car ride home on Sunday to take a nice long nap. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend!
